Spamming And Internet Marketing
This article brought to you by the webmaster of How To Make Money Online and Build Backlinks.
This to the majority of webmasters and bloggers is the backbone of their marketing campaign. As I roam across the web spending much of my time in the social areas I have found spam almost a way of life. Whether it is a blog or forum there are many out there that actually think copying and pasting a huge ad for their website is a good idea. Going to a blog and rather than actually reading and commenting on the post they put check out my website at spam.com. This is the best way to get your comment rejected as quickly as possible and the time you took to copy and paste goes to waste. Now if you actually go to the blog read it and place a comment relating to the post which has a rational thought behind it you will acquire a backlink. The difference between those who are on top of Google and those on the bottom is those on top know what is accepted in their online community where the people on bottom spend all this time plastering their websites link anywhere that would have it and places that don’t want it.
An example I would like to share is the webmaster forum v7n where I am an active member. I posted 50 times good posts no crap spending time to really answer and ask questions that did not seem rushed or stupid. After those 50 posts I was allowed to place my link in the signature which means my link goes at the bottom of my posts. Right now I have 7 or 8 hundred backlinks from this authoritative source. Now while looking through the forum every day there are webmasters which only go to the forum to copy and paste a bit ad. The forum masters see this strip the link and ban the person meaning they get absolutely nothing for the time they took signing up and pasting the ad. With that much time I could have wrote an article in my niche and posted it to a few article directories and the free traffic system. I actually do spend most of my marketing time doing this rather than spending time spamming my link to sites that really want nothing to do with me. This means the time I spend marketing actually help me reach the top of Google compared with the spammers which get absolutely nothing for their efforts.
Now even when your accepted into a community remember that you must remain tactful and not fall into the world of spam. If someone asks you for help and giving them a link to your website would be helpful this is fine as long as your sure it would actually help. In the webmaster communities I have found having an internet marketing blog with lists of resources such as social bookmarking sites very beneficial. They ask for a list and I give them a link to one of my posts with that list. This is fine now if I were to give them a link to my website which helps others make money this would be considered spam and I would receive consequences.
